The comic comes in English and Spanish, and there are also deluxe editions that contain 30+ pages of extra content like concept art + lore, along with work-in-progress pages from the pencils to the finished page. 😊

So, I checked the comic upload of The Wretched #1, and I noticed on my end that a few pages had trouble loading? I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue, but after replacing the images with different file types, I got them to load. The pages were: #46, #59, and #69 (nope. won't say it. XD).
If you spotted any issues, feel free to let me know in the comments so I can address them. On my end, it seems like all pages work fine on mobile and desktop, so hopefully all is good on your end. :)

If you have been waiting for "The Wretched" Book 1 to be uploaded in full for free, I have added the rest of the pages to Book 1!

Hey, readers! For those waiting on the rest of The Wretched - Book 1, I should be finishing fulfillment for the Kickstarter of it within a month or two (key word: "Should"). After I fulfill my obligations to my backers, I will focus on uploading the rest of Book 1 on here to read for free.
On top of that, production for issue #2 seems to be on track to start this Summer. My poor artist has jury duty right now, though, so it'll have to be sometime after. lol

I overlooked making the announcement here, but thanks to so many awesome backers, The Wretched has far exceeded its funding goal for printing and shipping last Friday morning! So, what's happening right now, is we are waiting for the backers to finish up their surveys, then Kickstarter to send the funds over, and then begins the process of sending out the books and other rewards to backers.
For those waiting for the rest of The Wretched - Book 1 to be uploaded on here, you'll have to wait until all the backers have received their books and rewards. So, it may be another month or so (this process is new to me), before we upload the rest of the pages on here.
In the meantime, keep enjoying some other comics! The Wretched will be here for you, ready for the rest of Book 1 to be read when uploaded! They'll be on here before you know it, along with production of #2 for this Summer! ^___^

One week left for the Kickstarter of The Wretched! :o
I added some new stretch goals, by the way. o.o
If we can get to 85 backers, we will unlock BUTTONS, using our sticker art design!
If we get to 95 backers, a new print+digital comic will be unlocked as well!
But it requires backing the project to unlock them! Even if it's $1, you'll be helping us reach these new stretch goals before the campaigns' end. ^___^

Just wanted to give in an update! The Wretched #1 on Kickstarter has far exceeded the funding goal, now currently at over $1,700 and over 50 backers! Not only that, but we crossed two stretch goals, which include 3 digital comics EACH to be sent FOR FREE to every backer (that's 6 total so far)!
We have 19 days left for the Kickstarter to see how far we can push this out! Woo!

EVERYONE! The Kickstarter for THE WRETCHED Book 1 launches TOMORROW!
Likely sometime in the AM, Eastern standard time (maybe 9am or 10am. Maybe a bit earlier). o.o
And for the first two days, you can save a couple dollars by selecting the EARLY-BIRD tier for the main cover of the comic. :)
And if you back it, you'll receive the story well-before it gets fully uploaded on here, so you'll get to experience it before most others on the GlobalComix app. ^___^
The Kickstarter will have digital tiers and physical tiers (which all also come with the digital book) for the FULL 70pg Book 1. The digital pdf's will come with all four covers included within it.
There will also be a set of stickers, bookmarks, and a print! :o
Be sure to click "notify" within the link here to know when it launches, so you can take advantage of the early-bird tier, or back whichever cover you like more!

Just want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it!
For me, it gives me a chance to see some family I haven't seen for a while, eat a whole bunch of great food with those I grew up with. We may end up playing a card game or two at some point. lol
Though I haven't really been close with everyone, I am thankful for the people around me. Family, friends, everyone. I am thankful for my friends, my fellow comic creators who have helped me along this journey, thankful for things like music, video games, writing, and everything else that helps get me by year after year.
No matter what, find ways to enjoy your day. Holiday or not. Do something or be with someone that makes you happy. Even though not everything may be ideal, it's important to keep yourself leaning into things you love and care about to get through it.
Lean into what you're thankful about and makes you happy. :)
And if you like... What are some things you are thankful for? o.o

Hello! Just did a quiet release of two comics I've sort of been working on the side from a series called "Tales of the Celestial Sea." This is incredibly different from my main series The Wretched, and includes the release of two one-shot stories titled "The Forgotten Isle" and "The Black Knife."
Both of those stories were inspired by surreal paintings of Mariusz Lewandowski, and somewhat in part the video game "Journey." Both comics have no words, and the stories will be left to your interpretation in looking at the pages of the artwork which are somewhat designed like paintings.
I hope you enjoy them both. :)

Currently in production of my first comic, The Wretched, which is a sci-fi horror/drama about kids who were turned into experiments of a mad scientist called "amalgams," doing their master's bidding while dealing with anxiety and cruelty in a hostile world.
