The Wretched
In the war-torn, infected land of Rhomheim, humanity is hunted by grotesque experiments of a mad scientist made of animal and machine called amalgams. Among the horrors are four young amalgams who, despite being as playful as they are cruel, must abduct humans for their master or suffer harsh consequences in their failure.
But in a world of hatred and cruelty, is there room for even monsters to grow? As new anxieties and vulnerabilities begin to emerge that threaten their brutal natures, will they choose to remain as the monsters they are, and perish? Or will they survive both the humans, and each other, long enough to accept the changes within them to grow, and become what they hate most: Being human.
