My name is John Kratky and Coffee Time Comix is the moniker I've been using since 2006 for the comics that I write. Most of my work is crime & horror, but I have written a little of everything including slice-of-life & fantasy. While my main inspiration is humans and the choices we make, my horror takes on a more fantasy world setting, while my crime takes on more modern times.

The story starts with two girls meeting in a bar. One suffering at the hands of an abusive pimp, the other with a dark history that marks her somebody not to mess with. When they both decide to escape their bad deals, a world of problems begin, not only in their personal lives, but in an America that is on the verge of downfall. Follow Sara on her journey south from Coos Bay to Mexico as she goes on the run from the law, her country, and herself. Home Free is a 5 issue series popping with grindhouse action and hardboiled suspense. Art by Michelle Lodge & Lettering by Eduardo Camacho.
