Stop waiting until the second issue to start the action, a superhero book needs to START with the action,28 pages of set up is too long.

@magus-maestro216 Sorry to respond late, been a while since I was on this site. To clarify, not a troll, but I feel putting a huge target on his family would be a CONFLICT, stories NEED conflict! We could have him be on the run and what not, becoming a folk hero even, him just being saved by a Deus Ex Machina.
