The true story of Jeffrey Hudson, a 17th century dwarf with the appearance of an infant, but with a lived experience most will never know. Born to a poor butcher’s wife, Minimus had the lowly beginning that any good protagonist requires. Jeffrey quickly found himself in the service of the elite after becoming a local attraction, but no one could guess what highs (and lows) his peculiarities would thrust him towards. From royal court, to war, to the slave markets of Africa and everywhere in between, Jeffrey’s journeys were as varied as Odysseus himself.
